Vijay Eswaran – the Statue of Business Leadership

Vijay Eswaran was born in 1960 and raised in Malaysia. He is an alumnus of London School of Economics and holds a degree in socio-economics from the institution. He has a humble career beginning in the foreign European country. For survival he did casual jobs such as plucking grapes, driving a cab and working at the construction site.

His light shone when he was introduced to binary system marketing which motivated him to acquire a professional qualification in CIMA. He later pursued an MBA from the Southern Illinois University, which he completed in 1986. He began working in Multilevel Marketing (MLM) and for Synaptics. On returning home, he focused his work at the Cosway Group in multilevel marketing. 1998 was the year he started a multi-level marketing company present day QI Group, formerly QuestNet, GoldQuest, and QI Limited. It is based in Hong Kong in approximately 19 years of operation. It is a direct selling company dealing with a variety of products such as fashion accessories, luxury goods, home care, nutrition, personal care, and energy and weight management. QI Group is an e-commerce based business which promotes its product on its website. However, for competitiveness, an ordinary retail customer can make a direct purchase from the website. The only requirement is a referrer ID from QI Group representative.

From previous work experience in multilevel marketing, Vijay Eswaran has implemented this strategy along with direct selling into his company. The company is fast rising with over 430 million US dollars and 1,500 employees.

The employees receive a good compensation for working with QI group. The company pays out a weekly $6800 for a bronze star and $20100 for a diamond star. The company has expanded serving over 30 countries as per their website.
